NHS Wales Terms of Use
The expectations and obligations between the NHS Wales Website and the onboarding organisations, some may be shared Responsibilities
CMS Training
- If admins have never used the CMS before they should review the training guides and videos on this CMS Support website
- Access can also be granted to a CMS Sandpit site, where Admins can put learning into practice without affecting any live site
Nominated Admins
Organisations will need to nominate at least 1 Admin user, who would have access to the NHS Wales Website.
- If additional access is required please log a call with the CMS Support Team
- If there is a change to the nominated site admin contact details, please log a call with the CMS Support Team so we can keep our records and user accounts up to date
Creating & Maintaining Content
The Organisation's nominated Admin will be responsible for the creation & maintenance of all website content and to ensure it is accurate, accessible, and adheres to any legislation, such as; Welsh Language Standards and Accessibility Standards.
- Content is the responsibility of the individual area’s admins (including translating content)
- Content must be accessible to all site users, Admins to review Accessibility & Best Practice
- Corresponding Welsh language pages are a legal requirement and must be in place where there is English language content, Admins to review Your Welsh Site & Welsh Language Content
- Orgs should use the plugins provided by the CMS, and make a Service Request if there is not a plugin available to suit their needs
- When adding any Forms, Admins would need to add a disclaimer to be transparent on the Forms use and how any data is shared
Custom Code
Please be aware that if your team have added bespoke/custom code within your area, this may not be compatible with our updates. As such, the admins are responsible for fixing any custom code issues
Notify the Support Team
- Please notify us if you were to implement any 3rd Party Plugins/Apps, as they may need to be included within the site Cookie Notice and Policy
- Should your website be compromised in any way, log a call to the CMS Support Team
Leaving Us?
Should you wish to leave the Service Agreement & close down your website please log a call to the CMS Support Team.
- If admins leave the organisation, we must be informed so access accounts can be deactivated
- If you no longer require your area, please log a support call
