Content Expiration Report

Selecting Content Expiration

By 'Expire' we mean needs a Refresh or needs Maintenance so by definition, all of your web content will expire at some point within its life cycle. Using the Publishing Tab on your content site Admins/Editors can set a time & date of when any piece of content will need reviewing, refreshing, or removing. You can also set which user/s (from within your site) should receive a notification of the Content Expiration.

See our guide for further information on Content Expiry. This option DOES NOT remove the content from your site. To have content automatically removed you would need to complete the Schedule Content Option.

Content Expiration Data Extract

We can now provide a data extract from the CMS database with details of which pieces of content have expiration dates, what those dates are and which users (if any) are set to receive expiry notifications. With this report, we can provide you with a full view of the next 6 or 12 months of expiration dates. This report will be provided upon request only and in an Excel format.
