How Do I Add the Cookie Control

 

 

 

Select your Settings

Privacy Policy URL: Set a link to your Cookie Policy/Cookie Information explanation page, so your visitors can make an informed decision (If any changes happen to this page the user will be prompted to give consent once again; as if they had never visited the site before)
Accept Behaviour: We have defaulted this option to 'ALL' - The user can read the text that states we collect cookies regarding how the site is used. By selecting All, essential and analytical cookies will be added.
Accept Button Name: Defaulted to - Accept All Cookies. The text should clearly explain what the visitor is consenting to if clicked.
Display Reject Button: Defaulted as ticked, as the user must have a clear choice available to reject the optional cookies
Reject button name: Defaulted to - 'Reject Non-Essential Cookies'. - The relevant text should clearly explain what the visitor is rejecting. This will accept Essential cookies and reject analytical/marketing cookies
Text on: Toggle label to indicate cookies can be created
Text off: Toggle label to indicate cookies cannot be created
Essential Cookies: These are only the ones needed for your website to function properly. No tracking, marketing, analytics or anything else
Theme: Select Light or Dark
Optional Cookies: Optional categories holding services you have on your site that set cookies. For each category, there is a dropdown field with all the known services we at NHS Wales use. They have all been configured and are ready for use on your website, you just need to select them.
Services such as Google Analytics require an identification key, a field will then be provided to you to populate the unique key into. Only select the services you are using, if one is not on the list, please contact the CMS Support Team.
