Create a Custom Dimension
Create the file_download Custom Dimension
- Log in to your Google Analytics account and select the website you want to set up the Key Event on
- Select Admin and Custom Definitions
- Select 'Create Custom Dimension'
- Dimension Name - file_download
- Scope - Event
- Description - Optional
- Event Parameter - link_url
- Select Save
This Custom Dimension will now be available within your Exploration Chart
